The winning entry "Reindeer" designed by Natalie Allan
Pupils from Auchinleck Academy have designed a Christmas card to highlight the festive message from the seventy7.org programme. The second year pupils designed Christmas cards around the message '77 per cent of us do not need to drink alcohol to have a good time', the
Cumnock Chronicle reports.
The winning entry "Reindeer", designed by Natalie Allan PSE class 2A4, has been professionally produced and is being used as the seventy7.org programme Christmas card. Natalie also received a framed copy of the card and twenty cards to give out to her friends and family. Joint second place went to Lauren (2B3) who designed "In front of the fire" and Kayleigh (2A1) who Designed "Rudolph".
The programme will now focus on the second message to come out from the findings of the survey: '99 per cent of us drink soft drinks when hanging out with friends'. This message will continue to be delivered both in the school and the wider community until May 2010.
