  • New first year pupils at Auchinleck Academy enjoyed a 'Freshers' Week' event at the school

This year's new pupils in the first year at Auchinleck Academy had a chance to see round their new school as they attended a 'Fresher's Week' event held just before the start of term.

The fun three-day event saw the new starts taking part in a variety of activities including sports, dance, karate and music to help them get to know others who hadn't been at their primary school. They also enjoyed team building activities and an orienteering quiz designed to help them find their way around their new school.
